[Features] Objective game modes
Normal Capture the Flag. Both teams have their own flags they need to defend.
Objective - capture the enemy team's flag.
Neutral Capture the Flag.
5 teams, 1 flag at the center of the map.
Objective - capture the neutral flag and bring it back to your base.
Hold the Objective:
5 teams, 1 crown. Crown can be carried and moved arround. Crown bearer cannot attack. Minor buffs to health and speed applied to crown bearer.
Objective - capture and hold the crown to earn points.

I would love to see less player game modes too, the problem would be that if there is a 4v4 or 8v8, the 20v20 et 5-army mode would slowly disappear as less and less players will play those mods (why play with 16 strangers when I can play with 3 friends?)
The game has been thought to be large scale, I think we need it's better for it to stay that way for now!

absolutely love this. things like capture the flag, bounty hunters, hardpoint, domination or even a search and destroy/rescue type game mode from call of duty games lol. there's also a mode on happy wars called save the king where; whoever got the first kill became "king", the king was suuuuper weak and slow and the objective was to keep the king on your team and escort him into the enemies castle to essentially "score a goal". that game mode was super fun and could probably work really well in warlanders!
I would Love some game modes like this! Also a mode where you have to protect the commander would be awesome!
A farmable mode with different tiers of challenges
This could go even further into not only tiers of challenges but also in terms of difficulty which would present corresponding rewards. It would give a break or some time to new players to settle into the game easier without being bombarded by real players.
Another interesting gamemode could be castle siege. A team have to defend a huge castle with multiple defensive layers against the opponent team, which constitute an overwhelming force. Attackers must defeat the king and defenders must defend until either the end of a countdown, or a certain amount of enemy is killed (depending which one would be the more fun when playing I guess?).

A war system similar to foxhole, but not exactly. You have a big map (not open world, or like foxhole) you can run in and out of zones. More like areas where the faction can develop resource hubs to contribute to the war, as big as any map currently in the game. Unlock higher CP ceilings to craft/produce better gear for the army. Upgrade fortress/resource hub walls so it's harder to raid/capture. Talking about 2-4 weeks long wars, if of course the player base allows it/makes sense.

I would like to see an overworld map system with territories that can be fought over between factions and clans/guilds associated with those factions. The battle over these territories would be public maps that faction members can freely join in real time by choice or through a matchmaking queue.
The number of participants should be balanced during this type of free battle where the player difference between both sides should be no more than 1 or 2. As the number of participants increase, the scale of the battle can go up to 50v50.

To expand on this I think it would be really cool if there was like a “tower defense” type mode. Essentially you would be tasked with defending the core just the same but with an added mechanic where you accumulate currency to spend on building pre-placed build locations where you could choose from a variety of tower types like ballista, cannons, minions, oil dumps etc to bolster defenses as the waves get harder. Even if you only get xp from it I know I and likely many others would have a blast in a mode like this
Add a little co-op and single player thing where you can customize modifiers ex, moon gravity, instakill, super speed. This will be good for content creators to showcase certain items and skills even classes.
Something like "Savage" game from S2 Games.

I feel this would be a pretty cool idea, was thinking 1 tower in middle of the map with a catapult, two fort walls on each side with one tower between and a tower near home base, I drew up a crappy reference of what I mean

I would like a fast paced single lane game mode. A bit like Smites 3v3.
Have towers doing dmg, so you have to either tank it, or mitegate it.
Two towers to pass, and one core to destroy.
Buff to compete for in the side, as well as valor points.
The match timers for the current 2v2 and 5v5 feel really short and the capacity for a 4 man team to smash into a castle is a bit too easy. My friends and I (with our very mediocre mechanical capacity) were able to carry and win a number of games without good reasoning. Harder sieges overall with damage differences + no radar or minimap to tell you about spec ops team back-capping and flanking one of your assault squads and such would be quite fun. We loved the big-battle feel that the game had but it felt pointless to clash in current modes when we could backdoor a gate in less than 20s as a 4 man. We want the hard and long drawn out fights to be had, perhaps with a larger and more tactical map with multiple points that can be taken then reinforced.

Cores are so yesterday. instead let's fight some real bosses. Each team instead has a dangerous Non-Player controlled version of one of the classes in their castle
You get your two walls on the outside but no keep door. when they get in, there is a huge room with your boss.
The cleric has protective spells and heals and will ressurect friendly players that die protecting her. she's not really there for the offense but she makes defending her a lot easier.
The warrior is a beast of a fighter, throwing out heavy swings knock back. you can block these hits but they still deal some damage to you(reduced) this could stop one person from tanking alone. youll need at least a few people or else this guys going to cut you apart. if he gets into enough trouble he lets out a big yell to stun everyone in the room
The mage drops spells all over the room. casting lightning all over the floor, napalm everywhere. these are very much going to hurt. you have to avoid this guys spells to get

2 different ideas:
True Moba: Your level-up characters mid-match with randomized gear and can reach the level 6 (or whatever the rank is) cap. You wouldn't have a deck of multiple builds but could play the existing 3 characters with default gear until you built them up in battle. We could find gear on the battlefield or in supply boxes or after doing a set number of tasks. I think it would be interesting especially if you could sell unused gear that could be available for your team to pick through
Title Battle: Basically let us play specific Title ranks with decks we built that are locked at that title rank. It's probably more interesting to have this mode at the highest title rank so you can fully deck out your characters. The only difference between this and the current mode is that valor wouldn't be used to pay for more powerful units and you only only deploy units at the rank of the title match (for all intents and purposes, this would be a full max rank deck).
Add a game mode with waves of endless rushing enemies to defend against in a keep.
With objectives and resources to fetch and activate in the fields for upgrades and powerups for the team.
Boss's to sneak up and kill somewhere in the map.
In 5x games when there are alot of bots, its satisfying to kill many things.

Is there any thought to extra game modes within Warlander? I love this game don’t get me wrong. But it’s kinda tedious playing the same game mode every-time. Even a simple death match game mode would be sweet!

There's this custom modded gamemode in Team Fortress 2 called Saxton Hale where there is 1 player on 1 team with tons of health, damage, speed and movement options etc, and then there is the other team filled with normal players and the group team has to work together to take down the single big bad guy or die trying. The 'Hale' wins when all the enemies are dead and vice versa
Even in that game there is a class that can revive fallen allies but if they aren't revived then they stay dead until the round is over, this game has exactly that too.
I really wish in the future there is some sort of game modding and community server system available in the future, it is the one thing that has extended TF2's lifespan for 1.5 decades

Escorting cart from Friendly base to Enemy base with advancing spawn locations, and choke points. Minimal builds, where the focus is teamwork to push your cart, wagon, unicorn on a sled into the enemies base. The only game I've played that did it was Paladins. Great fun though!

This isn't an original idea, somebody here had it, but what about a treasure collecting mode? Everybody seems to want some kind of CTF, and this could fit into a KotH theme too with taking defensive territory and fighting over good respawns.
Trying to keep it unique and not just CTF, the map will be littered with treasure (15-20 pieces) and there's two teams.
Players can carry up to 3 treasures, but each piece slows them a bunch. Treasures are placed in the treasure room and can be removed by the enemy team.
There would still be towers, but they'd be a bit fewer with a central tower garnering a good amount of the battle. I was thinking two mountain sides, bridges, and steep paths that run down each mountain into the central open area.
There would be siege, but it would be different. You'd have to build both the tower and the ballista, to warrant more use for build speed, and the tower spots would be on specific parts of the map.
